That cannot fade or die.

That warms with its glow,

Brightening life’s path for us

No matter where we go.

Friendship is a precious gift

That’s always sweet and fair,

Bringing treasures bright as diamond

And happiness (is) to spare.

Friendship is a penultimate gift

That’s never bound within give and take

Encourages propinquity to each other

That is always real and never fake.

Friendship is a perpetual gift

That’s never broken by any flow

Always glitters as old as gold

Whilst man may come, man may go.
